Le communiqué du FMI note que the total amount received by Ghana under the loan program was $1.56 billion. The disbursement of this installment comes after the completion of the second review of the reforms implemented by the Ghanaian authorities. According to the fund, “the reform efforts of the Ghanaian government are bearing fruit: economic growth has been more robust than expected, inflation has rapidly declined from the peaks observed in 2022, and the fiscal situation has improved.”
