The CEO of Africa50, Alain Ebobisse reaffirmed on August 5 the will of this African investment fund to invest in infrastructure projects in Gabon. Three have already been targeted.

At the end of an audience with Deputy Prime Minister Alexandre Barro Chambrier, Alain Ebobisse, managing director of the African investment fund Africa50 to ensure the firm commitment of the fund to support the government of Gabon under the enlightened leadership of the President of the Republic to implement a number of projects. He said that some projects have already been identified: the three projects concern the construction of the Orinko natural gas thermal power plant (IPP Owendo); the construction of the PK15 — Owendo bypass road, which has already been the subject of advanced discussions and studies; and the development of electricity transmission lines in partnership with the Ministry of Energy.
