Imports of goods from the UEMOA zone are estimated at 6.1 billion in July 2024 against 5.0 billion the previous month, according to the Directorate of Economic Forecasting and Studies (Dpee).

Imports of goods from the UEMOA zone represent 1.1% of the total amount of goods imports, an increase of 0.1 percentage point. According to the Dpee, Côte d'Ivoire remains Senegal's main supplier, at the level of this Union, with a share of 77.3% against 84.3% compared to June. According to the information, the main products imported from this partner country are “edible fruits and vegetables” (16.9%), the products of the para-chemical industries (10.3%), artificial plastic materials (9.4%) and “paper, cardboard and applications”
