Dans le but de support the economic and social transformation of Benin, which involves strengthening the growth of the private sector, the country's social and climate resilience as well as improving revenue collection, the Bank Mondiale has agreed to release funding of 635.5 million euros for the benefit of the country

This financing will support reforms, as part of an overall objective, to mobilize 500 million euros in commercial financing. The program is divided into three pillars. First, it is a question of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). It aims to create an operational framework to encourage the participation of the private sector in public projects, facilitating access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises. The second pillar is revenue collection supporting reforms to improve tax collection, thus guaranteeing funds for public investment. And the third, which consists of Social and Climate Resilience, includes expanding the single social register and strengthening disaster risk management systems, in order to promote sustainable cities. The World Bank's operations manager for Benin, Nestor Coffi, said that this financing is part of a desire for the structural transformation of the Beninese economy, by making growth more

inclusive and resilient.
