The three new industrial projects will be developed by three companies, such as Livista Energy, Air Products and Qair. They will develop a lithium refinery, a renewable hydrogen import site and a hydrogen and methanol production and storage project by 2026-2029. The first project, led by the Luxembourg company Livista Energy, concerns a lithium refinery for batteries. The group plans to invest 1.2 billion euros and create 300 direct jobs. According to the minister's office, the société American company Air Products will for its part set up a site to import hydrogen produced from renewable solar or wind energy “for a total investment estimated at 1.1 billion euros and 270 potential jobs”. The latest company, Qair, the French company will produce and store hydrogen and methanol for maritime transport. It plans to invest 500 million euros for 150 direct job creations.
