The President of the Transition, General Mamadi Doumbouya promulgated in a decree published on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the law authorizing the ratification of the credit agreement between the Republic of Guinea and the French Development Agency (AFD).

Law L2024-018-CNT of 8 July 2024 was signed on 23 April 2024 for an amount of 60 million euros. It relates to the financing of the project to improve access to electricity in forest Guinea. The duration of this project is 20 years including an amortization period of 7 years from the date of its signature. To repay, Guinea will be able to choose, at each payment, between a fixed interest rate and a variable interest rate, the latter cannot be less than 0.25% per year
