This report provides information on a quarterly increase of 2.2% in deposits collected by microfinance institutions in Benin
.The BOAD report on the situation of the microfinance sector in the UMOA member countries for the second quarter of the year 2024 informed that “at the end of June By 2024, the number of SFDs in the UMOA stood at 539, after 540 in the previous quarter of 2. The Union's microfinance institutions serve 18,923,770 customers through a network of 4,921 service points spread across the eight Member States of the Union.” The comment indicates that in Benin, there is a quarterly increase of 2.2% or 4.3 billion FCFA. In Senegal (+17.2 billion FCFA, +3.1%), in Burkina (+16.8 billion FCFA, +3.8%), in Côte d'Ivoire (+14.8 billion FCFA, +2.6%), in Togo (+8.9 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+8.9 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+8.9 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FCFA, +2.2%), in Mali (+3.5 billion FPissau (+3.9 million FCFA, +20.8%).
