The regional director of the Angola Sovereign Fund (FSDEA), Orlando Chongo announced on Friday that this institution has recently become a shareholder in the Bank for Trade and Development of Eastern and Southern Africa (TDB Group).

The regional director of FSDEA, speaking on the sidelines of the 1st Business Forum on Financing Opportunities, specified that the institution's financial assets in the TDB are part of the framework of the existing strategic partnership between the two institutions, which are essentially concentrated eacute; es on creating jobs and promoting the export of goods and services that generate capital for the Angolan market. According to the official, the partnership between the two institutions “opened the window” for Angolan companies to have access to the above capital, through the East and Southern Africa Trade and Development Bank
