Dans le but de soutenir des réformes ambitieuses, la World Bank approved $200 million in funding from the International Development Association (IDA) ) in Togo.

Les réformes ambitieuses du Togo vise à promote more productive and sustainable agriculture, accelerate rural electrification, strengthen climate resilience, improve human capital and the protection of vulnerable populations viable, and create the necessary budgetary margins for priority investments. The World Bank's financing is part of the development strategy set out in the government's 2025 road map and its emergency plan for the Savanes region, a region particularly affected by economic and social fragility.

This funding is part of the second Development Policy Support Program for Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Development in Togo.

This program contributes to the strengthening of land security for smallholder farmers to encourage investments in more productive and sustainable agricultural practices; the improvement of reforms in the energy sector, in particular through the operationalization of a new tariff structure and support for renewable energy production; the & establishment of a regulatory framework for carbon credit markets in support of climate projects. The project also contributes to the improvement of social protection through the establishment of a national social register; the increase in l'accès aux manuels scolaires et améliorer les performances des enseignants; au renforcement du soutien victims of violence based on ; on gender; increasing government revenues by streamlining tax expenditures; and reducing fiscal risks associated with the financial health of public enterprises
