Building materials, as well as chemicals and fertilizers top exports with 8.62 and 7.2 billion respectively.

Egyptian non-oil exports posted a total of $36 billion in the first 11 months of the year (January to November), an increase of around 10% compared to the same period last year, according to statements by the head of the Export Control Authority.

“We have made a major leap in non-oil exports in collaboration with the private sector. It is expected that we will end the year with a total of exports of 40 billion dollars,” Essam Al-Naggar, head of the Export Control Authority, said

Exports from building materials and metal industries had the lion's share with $8.62 billion, followed by chemicals and fertilizers with $7.2 billion while precious stones and gold recorded $2.63 billion.
