The African Development Bank (ADB) plans to finance the redevelopment of the Tunisian road network, the total cost of which amounts to more than 291,405 million dinars at 93%. For this, it granted the country a loan of 80,162 million euros, or nearly 265 million dinars

The rehabilitation project involves redeveloping 188.9 kilometers. The work that will begin next year will upgrade roads in seven governorates such as Sousse, Kairouan, Sfax, Kasserine, Gafsa, Gafsa, Ket, and Siliana. The project focuses in part on disadvantaged governorates whose infrastructure suffers from many shortcomings
