The Department of Regulation and Supervision of Sfds announced that the growth of the microfinance sector is encouraged by an increase in memberships among natural persons (0.5%) and legal entities (0.5%) over the period. This evolution can be explained by the positive increase in memberships among non-affiliated Imcec (1.4%), affiliated Imcec (2.2%) and commercial companies (4.1%) over the period under review. According to the Directorate for Regulation and Supervision of Sfd, 307,377 new account openings were recorded at an annual variation, i.e. an increase of 7.4%.
