Crowdfunding for housing, mainly in the form of “Real Estate Murabaha”, reached 24.5 billion Dirhams (MMDH) at the end of November 2024, marking a notable increase of 14.5% compared to the same period in 2023, according to the latest figures published by Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).

This financing thus showed an increase of 14.5% compared to November 2023, indicates BAM in its recent “Credits — Bank Deposits” dashboard.

Regarding loans granted to households, they recorded an annual increase of 0.8%, mainly due to the 1.7% increase in home loans and 1.5% in consumer loans, according to the same source.

In addition, the BAM business survey indicates that access to bank financing, in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, was considered “normal” by manufacturers.
