Un atelier technique s' est tenu le 17 févrrier 2025 in Abidjan. It was organized by the African Development Bank in association with the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). Discussions revolved around Global and Regional Public Goods (BPMR), as part of the implementation of its recently approved Ten-Year Strategy (2024-2033)

L'atelier technique ayant attiré plus de 150 professionnels de la Banque et de ses partenaires, highlighted BPMR as a catalyst for meeting development challenges in Africa. During the activities, participants covered Bank initiatives in climate action, pandemic preparedness, food security, peacebuilding, and the Regional Public Goods Window

According to Bank Group Vice President for Energy, Power, Climate and Green Growth, Kevin Kariuki, “the workshop is essential to operationalize the African Development Bank's 10-Year Strategy. This workshop will, among other things, identify best practices and lessons learned from regional and global experiences in the provision of public goods.” Also, participants highlighted the need to strengthen partnerships with other multilateral development banks and private sector entities to mobilize additional resources for LDCs in Africa
