The Ivorian Minister of the Digital Economy and Digitalization Ibrahim Kalil Konaté presented the government's strategy for digital development on Thursday, April 18, last year. The presentation was made before the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council (CESEC)

The minister announced Côte d'Ivoire's ambition to put satellites into orbit so that the country is more resilient and less dependent on submarine cables. According to the Minister for Digital Transition and Digitalization, the construction of a Data Center will be launched on May 15 with a capacity of 1.5 megawat. In particular, this will make it possible to promote digital social inclusion and unlock digital trust, dematerialize administrative procedures with a high social impact, and modernize the Post Office of Côte d'Ivoire

Le ministre a aussi promis lors de sa présentation de faire en sorte de mettre en place, les infrastructures à l' effet de permettre aux ivoiriens de disposer de l' internet haut débit partout en Côte d' Ivoire en développant surtout des solutions alternatives de résiliences, “ especially satellite solutions.
