La cofondatrice et associée directrice de First Circle Capital, Selma Ribica has joined the Board of Directors of MTN Mobile Money Ghana.

MTN Mobile Money is one of the most advanced players in the mobile money market on the African continent. Selma Ribica manages this venture capital fund in Morocco and is expected to put her experience at the service of the first mobile money service provider in this West African country. Selma Ribica has served on the boards of directors of several fintech companies in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and now integrates MTN Mobile Money Ghana (still called MTN MoMo Ghana), a subsidiary specializing in the provision of mobile money services in this West African country. Ribica manages the venture capital fund First Circle Capital in Casablanca, which she co-founded two years ago and which aims to support fintechs in Morocco, in particular, and in Africa, in general. The latter “will work to continue to advance financial inclusion and bring transparency to financial transactions in Ghana through digitalization and good governance.”
