A statement from the Council of Ministers published last Thursday, July 18, mentions that the Burkinabe government will benefit from a 15 billion FCFA loan from the West African Development Bank ( BOAD ) for the financing of an emergency project to produce mineral fertilizers in the country.

The project financed by the AfDB aims to improve agricultural productivity and production. Its vision is to facilitate access to “quality fertilizers, in quantity and at competitive prices” in the country.
