“Africa on the move: accelerating sustainable transport and logistics connectivity” is the theme around which discussions will focus during the second edition of the African Transport Forum, which is being held 9 years after the first in 2015. The activity organized by the African Development Bank (AfDB) will address critical topics such as promoting greater private sector participation, de-risking policies, integrated and smart infrastructure solutions, and innovative financing mechanisms. According to the organizers, it will be an opportunity for participants to discuss road safety, multimodality and the challenges of urban mobility. This edition will provide an opportunity for the organizers of this forum to present the main initiatives taken in the field of transport, including the Regional Corridors Initiative, the Sustainable Road Maintenance Program for Africa, the Green Mobility Facility for Africa and the African Green Infrastructure Alliance.
