Les accords signés entre la Tunisie et la BAD portent on a contribution to the financing of the Programme to Support Business Competitiveness and the Empowerment of the Population through Job Creation (CAP-Emplois). The first agreement concerns a credit of 90 million euros (or 99.2 million dollars), validated by the ADB and repayable over 24 years with a grace period of 8 years. This agreement was signed by the Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, and by the Deputy Director General of the AfDB Regional Office for North Africa, Malinne Blomberg. According to Abdelhafidh, the second agreement consisted in a donation of 2.5 million dollars in the form of technical support to the Cap-Emplois
program.
