On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, two financial loan and grant agreements were signed between Tunisia and the African Development Bank (AfDB).

Les accords signés entre la Tunisie et la BAD portent on a contribution to the financing of the Programme to Support Business Competitiveness and the Empowerment of the Population through Job Creation (CAP-Emplois). The first agreement concerns a credit of 90 million euros (or 99.2 million dollars), validated by the ADB and repayable over 24 years with a grace period of 8 years. This agreement was signed by the Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, and by the Deputy Director General of the AfDB Regional Office for North Africa, Malinne Blomberg.
