On January 24, 2025, a partnership agreement was held in Burkina Faso between the National Union of Cooperative Societies of Seed Producers (UNPSB) and the Dumu Ka Fa Fund (DKF). This partnership is dedicated to financing the agropastoral sector

The partnership will allow UNPSB to obtain an annual credit line of at least 1 billion CFA francs (approximately $1.6 million) per year, for a period of three years, renewable. According to the UNPSB in a statement published on its website, this approach aims to facilitate its access to credits to strengthen the production of improved seeds and support the establishment of a reference industrial structure for the storage, treatment and reconditioning of seeds at the local level
