The agreements were signed by Solomane Koné, Acting Director General of the Bank Group for the Central Africa Region, and Ludovic Ngatse, Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration and Governor of the Bank for Congo. The first donation will finance hydroelectric dam development studies. The amount of this grant is estimated at $585,000 mobilized from the Technical Assistance Fund for Middle Income Countries. The second donation, which is 995,000 dollars granted from the resources of the Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation Trust Fund (KOAFEC). It will be used to finance the feasibility study and detailed design of the transmission lines between Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville and between Loudima and Djambala.
