The CEO of the African Intellectual Property Organization suspended following suspicion of embezzlement. On October 14, 2021, Alimatou Shadiya Assouman, the Beninese Minister of Industry and Trade, also President of the Board of Directors of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), whose headquarters is in Yaoundé, Cameroonian capital , signed a decision suspending the director general of this pan-African organization.
